Are you a fan of handcrafted items like I am?
I sure hope so.
For Small Business Saturday I’m sharing a few of my very favorite small business shops.
These folks pour their hearts and souls into everything they make and sell.
Whether it’s beautiful home accessories, decor, or handmade one-of-a-kind clothing,
what is found in small shops is unlike anything found in big box stores.
Don’t get me wrong, though; I love to hit a few of those up too.
We all have one or two people who are difficult to shop for on our list.
In those instances,Etsy and independent online specialty boutiques are my go-to shopping source.
So let’s take a look and get some Christmas gifts knocked off your list…..
You can click each ladies name to follow them on Instagram.
and if you click on each photo they are directly linked to the shops.

French Eclectic Bohemian Vintage Gift Ideas
Amber is one of my IG Besties and is the owner of Junky Chic Boutique.
Last week on Instagram stories I shared live video while I opened a package from her.
I showed everyone on IG each of the stunning vintage
brass candlesticks, dishes, and teacups I purchased from her shop.
Amber worked one-on-one with me and created a custom listing on Etsy
so I could purchase a few gifts for my mother and a few things for myself.
•If you’re looking for something special, send a message and ask her about it.
• For the collector in your life, Ambers assortment of tea cups,
pretty vintage dishware, and ironstone are fantastic gift ideas.
• If you’re looking for customized holiday wreaths- she does that too!
You will love how attentive Amber is
and how she goes above and beyond to make sure you’re a happy customer.
Rustic Glam Gift Ideas
Karen owner of Little Creek Uniques
has a creative talent at combining rustic with glam elements.
If natural touches are your style and your looking for something
just a little different to add to your holiday home, Little Creek Uniques is one to shop.
The chippy weathered finishes with little
bit a glam are perfect for those who love rustic with a little bit of bling.
Vintage Marvel Comics Lover Gift Ideas
Another favorite Etsy shop owner is Anna Gardica.
Last year I purchased a large number
of Marvel comic prints as a Christmas gift for my extremely hard to shop for husband.
I framed them for use in the man area of the house.
You know… the one where it’s darker colors and more like a theater room/man cave.
At some point later in 2017 I will share that space here on the blog.
Check out Gardica for the comic Superhero lover in your life!
Right now she has a buy 2 get 1 free special
going on for these awesome prints on vintage paper.
French Farmhouse Christmas Gifts
Another fabulous Small Business is Cedar Hill Farmhouse.
Anita Joyce has authored a few books about French Farmhouse decor,
she blogs, she is a mom, and finds time to run an online boutique too.
You will find a wide assortment of gifts in her shop-
•Everything from tea towels, to French enamel water pitchers, lamps,
grainsack throw pillows, candles, and personal fragrances.
•Anita has a 15% off Black Friday sale going on through 11/28.
Small Business Saturday is a wonderful way to support
the little guys out here in this great big world.
A small purchase helps them provide for their families.
It may be soccer uniforms, putting kids through band, or cheerleading.
In some cases, our purchases helps them afford tutors for their children and pay medical bills.
Many SBS owners are at home struggling with invisible illnesses and a myriad of health issues.
Our purchases are a huge blessing to them.
I do hope ya’ll fall in love with some of my favorite small businesses
and find a few gifts for your loved ones this holiday season.
I’m headed out to shop a favorite locally owned brick and mortar business
here in Anchorage and will be sharing snippets on IG stories.
If you’re not following on Instagram yet be sure to head over there
and get the raw, unedited, version of me on IG stories.

All giddy, happy opinions are my own.
I truly love all of these ladies! What they can do, make, and create is just icing on the cake.
I also strive to support all the hardworking SB owners by sharing them and giving each of them a nice honest review.
