Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things.
Thank you to all who joined us last week!
I loved so many posts that joined us.
We are at an interchange between season and holidays.
Some are just beginning to have fall like weather,
others are focused on Thanksgiving ideas
while yet others are working on decking their halls for Christmas.
Most of our regular bloggers who join TFT know I live in Alaska
and that we had our first snowfall about one month ago.
I have been moving out fall and bringing touches of winter
and Christmas in to my home but am keeping a few things out for Thanksgiving dinner.
I’m hoping with an early start it will lend time to enjoy the decor
before all the hustle and bustle begins with festivities, the shopping, wrapping, and baking.
Not to mention, photographing, writing, blogging and sharing it here.
Before jumping into Christmas on the blog lets give Thanksgiving some much needed attention.
We have some wonderful Thanksgiving table decor ideas to feature this week!
This past week I shared a Thanksgiving Tablescape
and all the details about how I created this untraditional style but still embraced natural touches.
Then a BIG thing happened….
I shared my first guest post over at Katherines Corner.
Mrs. Katherine is the main hostess of Thursday Favorite Things.
Since I was already working on Thanksgiving table and was undecided
which style of napkins I wanted to use on the blog I thought it was perfect opportunity
to share a few of my most favorite ways for Styling Napkins .
Let’s take a look at what our fabulous
Thursday Favorite Things Features shared.
Angie from the Country Chic Cottage shared a DIY Pumpkin Napkin Ring Holder .
She also included a detailed video to help the visual learners.
Cristina from Birds Blog Party shared a
DIY Striking Autumn FloralCenterpiece
that is perfect for Thanksgiving along with a DIY video too.
Janet from Rosemary and Thyme shared an
Elegant Woodland Rustic Tablescape
with browns and golds with a small Frenchy blue accent color.
The warmth and patterns playing with each other is delightful!
Robin from Redo It Yourself Inspirations shared a clever
DIY Serving Tray
Wouldn’t this be perfect for serving appetizers all through the holiday season?
Maybe even a nice handmade gift for a loved one?
Thank you to all who join us each week and share a part of themselves and their homes with us all.
Surely you will find inspiration for setting a beautiful holiday table this Thanksgiving.
Don’t forget to Pin this for later.
Please follow your hostesses.
